IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE UK PROGRAMME APPLICATION DATES
We regret that due to the exceptionally high number of applications to the recent Overseas programme that are still under assessment we will be unable to open the UK programme in April as originally planned.
The revised opening dates are:
UK Programme - applications open at 10am on Tuesday 21st May 2024
closed for applications at 3pm on Tuesday 18th June 2024
The scheduled opening in September is unchanged.

The Hilden Charitable Fund is an endowed grant-making foundation and a registered charity. We fund smaller UK-based organisations delivering projects within the UK to support social justice and to tackle disadvantage in specific areas of focus - providing unrestricted, core or project funding. We also fund projects overseas – in Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda. We are a small team with limited capacity to respond to general enquiries but if you have a particular question which is not covered in the various links then please do get in touch.
APPLICATION OPENING PERIODS - 2024
OVERSEAS PROGRAMME
This is now closed for applications following a recent opening period. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their request by the middle of June 2024. The next opening period is unlikely to be before February 2025.
UK PROGRAMMES
These are currently CLOSED for applications but will open twice this year:
Tuesday 21st May 2024 (c.10am) - Tuesday 18th June 2024 at 3pm sharp
Tuesday 10th September 2024 - Tuesday 15th October 2024 at 3pm sharp
(Please note that you can apply in one period only; and you cannot apply at all if you had 2-year funding from us in 2023)

Already funded?
If you currently have a grant from us you will need to submit a monitoring report form at the end of each grant year funded – you will be sent an automated email approximately one month before the report is due so please make sure to tell us if your contact details have changed.
