The Hilden Charitable Fund is an endowed grant-making foundation and a registered charity. We fund smaller UK-based organisations delivering projects within the UK to support social justice and to tackle disadvantage in specific areas of focus - providing unrestricted, core or project funding. We also fund projects overseas – in Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.

UK Programme - This programme is now CLOSED for applications. Please check our website in early 2024 for information on the next round.
Overseas Programme – having recently funded a number of projects this programme is currently closed for applications and will not reopen again until Late 20023/early 2024.
We strongly urge you to read all the information provided in the sections below before applying as these will outline the eligibility criteria, what we fund and how to apply. The criteria will be different in each case. We are a small team with limited capacity to respond to general enquiries but if you have a particular question which is not covered in the various links then please do get in touch.

If you currently have a grant from us you will need to submit a monitoring report form at the end of each grant year funded – you will be sent an email on this nearer the time so please make sure to tell us if your contact details have changed.
Please note - you cannot apply to us if you are currently a grant holder and your grant is not due to end until 2024.
